Tunnel to Towers NYC 2019 – ‘Assemble for Amy’

On May 21, 2018, Baltimore County Police Officer Amy Sorrells-Caprio was killed in the line of duty.
On September 29, 2019, the members of Brothers Before Others, along with our families and supporters, will be running in the Tunnel to Towers NYC as ‘Team Caprio’.
Just as years past, all ages and fitness levels are welcomed. You do not need to be a police officer or even a member of Brothers Before Others in order to participate as part of our team.
Also, just as years past, we will have a contingency of our team running in FULL uniform. If you do choose to run in full uniform, all we ask is that you be prepared to run, no matter what the pace. We do not want ‘walkers’ in uniform. For those who are unclear, full uniform consists of:
- Duty shirt
- Duty pants
- Boots (NOT sneakers)
- Vest
- Complete belt rig…Yes, including your duty weapon and magazines.
*******If you intend on running in uniform, IT IS MANDATORY that you receive permission from your commanding officer. ********
When you register, be sure that you are signed up as part of ‘Brothers Before Others’. You should register as ‘Adult/Child’ with ‘No Time Chip’, as we are going for camaraderie and not personal bests.
The cost to register as of the date of this posting is $55.00 per person. However, the price increases as the event gets closer. In other words, the longer you wait, the more you pay.

The event coordinator should receive a notification once you register. However, the purpose of you emailing the above is to ensure that you registered properly and are not left off the team list.
