Partners

The following Partners of Brothers Before Others have shown a dedication to our same core mission: the honoring of our fallen heroes. Their selfless donations-in-kind of time, effort, goods and monies in the name of that mission have enabled us to expand far beyond our humble beginnings. If you are interested in partnering with Brothers Before Others or have an opportunity you think we would be interested in, please contact Michael J. Burke by email.

Law Enforcement Today & The Whiskey Patriots

Law Enforcement Today (LET) is administered and owned by law enforcement officers. They embrace law enforcement personnel, sworn and unsworn, as well as retired LEOS and civilian supporters. LET strives to provide cutting-edge articles and information from subject matter experts in many law enforcement disciplines. LET is not corporately owned, but exists for law enforcement, by law enforcement.

Imagine what would happen if Drudge Report, Breitbart, CRTV, Amazon, Facebook, Chambers of Commerce, the Fraternal Order of Police, Rotary and the VFW had a baby:  it would be named “Whiskey Patriot”.

The Whiskey is a community where your average, everyday American can connect with fellow patriots, patriotic companies and thought leaders.  It’s a home where you can learn about incredible people and remarkable organizations doing inspiring things and touching lives.

It’s a place where we can have candid and authentic conversations and discussions about difficult topics and not be shamed for sharing thoughts or asking questions. It’s a gathering of patriotic Americans, first responders, veterans, community leaders, entrepreneurs and everyone who believes in America.

Blue Line Bears

Blue Line Bears is a nonprofit organization with the goal of helping the children of fallen Law Enforcement officers cope with the devastating loss of a parent. So far in 2018 alone, 115 law enforcement officers across the country have been killed in the line of duty, many of them leaving behind children and/or grandchildren. Blue Line Bears is the creation of the 14 year-old daughter of a police officer whose goal it is to help the children of fallen officers through the difficult loss of their parent. Children of law enforcement officers grow up realizing that their parent’s life is at risk every day they go to work. Add to that the fact that there is much public ridicule of law enforcement officers, and deaths in the line of duty are sudden, shocking and violent. With all of this in mind, Blue Line Bears will not only provide a lasting keepsake to help keep the officer’s memory alive, but will also help their child to see that there are caring individuals who respect and appreciate men and women in uniform. Children of officers killed in the line of duty are oftentimes young, perhaps too young to remember the parent who died. For those children, a bear from Blue Line Bears will provide a tangible reminder that their loved one will always be with them. As of 2018, almost 400 bears have been completed and delivered to the families of fallen officers.
