Monday, May 28th 2018, will be Memorial Day. This holiday is set aside as a day of remembrance in honor of all the military servicemen and servicewomen who never came home from the battlefield.
In honor of the sacrifices made, BBO Partner/Member Jonny Castro featured 5 randomly submitted and selected military heroes to be featured on canvas. Jonny, who is a Philadelphia Police Officer and forensic sketch artist, has been creating line of duty death portraits, as well as portraits of both military and civilian heroes, since the first anniversary of the assassination of Philadelphia Police Officer, Robert Wilson.
Once Jonny had his five heroes selected, he then unveiled them, one each day of the week leading up to Memorial Day Weekend. The five selected can been seen below, accompanied by others.
